Freek Snippers
ATTORNEY AT LAW
Freek is partner at HDK. He was sworn in as an attorney at the beginning of 2002 and has been working in the field of labor and codetermination law since late 2001. Freek provides advice to employers, employees, statutory directors, and works with works councils and labor unions as well. He has advised on several occasions in the development of (new) group collective labor agreements. In addition to his labor and codetermination practice, Freek was appointed as a trustee more than 70 times during the crisis years from 2007 to 2015. This has made Freek exceptionally well-versed in recovery and reorganization issues, and he approaches such issues from a wider perspective than employment law only. Freek enjoys offering pragmatic advice and assistance as an entrepreneur. He represents both employers and employees in sensitive cases where inappropriate behavior plays a prominent role. Before joining HDK, Freek was associated with a medium-sized law firm in Amsterdam, where he spent the last seven years as a partner.
