On 8 December 2014 Wouter Engelsman and Sander Theunissen spoke before a group of approximately 40 Dutch and French lawyers about the changes in Dutch employment law as a result of the Dutch Work and Security Act (Wet werk en zekerheid). The meeting was organised in collaboration with law firm of Brisdet Advocaten. The most important legislative changes were discussed on the basis of five propositions.
Valentine Guerrero, a French lawyer who came from Paris to attend the meeting, compared the changes in Dutch employment law with the comparable French legislation. Among the guests were numerous French clients and business relations of HDK Advocaten. The meeting was held in Maison Descartes in Amsterdam and was a great success.
