Barbara van der Veen

Barbara has been a lawyer at HDK since 2018, when she was admitted to the Dutch Bar. She advises on a wide range of employment law matters, including individual dismissals, employment matters related to board members, reorganizations, flexible employment arrangements, and codetermination processes (for both companies and works councils). Barbara has extensive experience advising organizations across a variety of sectors, with particular expertise in the healthcare and retail industries. In addition to her work as a lawyer, she regularly gives webinars and seminars, including for the Academy for Legal Practice (Academie voor de Rechtspraktijk). Before joining HDK, Barbara worked as an attorney at law at Van Doorne.
